Mark’s role at LaScala has gained higher visibility over the last two years. As cybersecurity threats and attacks have become everyday news, Mark and his team have worked diligently to stay abreast of new and ever-changing points of attack.
Having built the Security Operations Center and Security Analyst Team from the ground up, Mark is confident in LaScala’s abilities to provide 24/7/365 security monitoring, detection, and response for all clients.
Mark is also the lead with clients when aligning with NIST and CMMC compliance standards.
Having more than 25 years’ experience in network systems and security, Mark is a strategic partner, collaborating closely across lines of business to protect corporate IT assets including IP, regulated data, and reputation. Prior to LaScala, Mark spent 14 years in Information and Cybersecurity for First Solar, a $3.5B American manufacturer of solar panels. He also worked at La-Z-Boy, Inc. and VanStar/Inacom Corporation.
Mark’s core competencies include cloud/data/cyber security, IT risk management, data privacy regulations, policy development, and incident management and forensics to name a few.
